What's that dripping sound?

Huh, I suddenly hear a dripping water sound. There must be water running in the apartment where there shouldn't be. I am concerned. |

Actually, the dripping noise is coming from one of the air vents. Someone else must be running some water somewhere, noise comes through the air vents all the time. I guess I shouldn't be concerned. |

Wait! Water is actually dripping into the air vent and running out of the vent! This is concerning after all. |

It's probably not a leak, it's just snow that got into the ventilation system. |
That last one is my conclusion after talking to building maintenance, to be clear.
